Can Anyone show me a list to all the sections, Because people have been saying Section 1 And stuff like that, So... i need to know what they are

Just after 2.00pm today I was doing some work from home, listening to my music (really really loudly) and I can hear a commotion outside, i think nothing of it but after two minuets I can hear word for word the argument over my music. I hear a woman and a man screaming so I look out the window, the female was screaming at the her son who was trying to kill himself and the gentleman was a builder contracted too do work on a house a few doors away, he joined to offer help. I rush to the phone and hit 999 and ask for the police. Hey Guys, Does anyone carry 2 sets of handcuffs? I have been told that some officers do as there are certian situations where you need them. I purchased some handcuffs off ebay for £20 - http://cgi.ebay.co.u...e=STRK:MEWNX:IT The serial number has been grinded off but they are in fully working order. The advert says that they are ex police cuffs which have had its ID grinded off and has followed some Police or MOD regulation. Would I be able to use these on duty as a 2nd pair? The prison service is run as a national service with regions and areas, why can't the police service instead of having 43 different forces just have one national police force ?

I didn't know this series had started. Its about the kids at Vinney Green a secure unit for young offenders. They are there for a few days or up till their 16th birthday. Just watched the first episode on IPlayer and really enjoyed it. Might be worth watching the rest of the series

Today I saw a vehicle with an ipad dead centre of windscreen. Obviously using it as sat nav. The drivers view was obviously impeaded. Just wondering exactly how the law stands on gadgets on windows?

I was surfing You Tube earlier this morning and was surprised to find a number of audio and video recordings made of proceedings in the courts. Filming and recording legal proceedings in court is illegal, given that mobile phones almost all have the capacity to record audio and video this may be something for us all to be aware of happening in court covertly by defendants and others with interests. You Tube Video It worries me that this sort of material could effect trials and result in witness intimidation. I was wondering if any one else has come across this before ? C.

Hi What was the typical routine you took each day during your training? the whole day from when you wake up to when you finish your classroom training and go home? e.g. wake up at 7am, shower, brush teeth, breakfast, train, start at 9. Arron

What actually are traffic officers? Obviously they primarily patrol the roads (i assume) But what extra powers do they have on the roads over regular officers?

Hi, Just want some advice really. I have finished my 6 months training and have one 4 hour shift left to do with my tutor officer - been attested, have my gear everything - my question is at this point in time can or do specials defer? I am really stressed from my full time job alone and at this point in time I am not even enjoying coming alone for a TOD. Has anybody found you can take time off and I am thinking of a year. I need to get my head sorted - finished my degree and I am not even sure what I want to do thats why I need some space from the stress I have had in previous months. Thanks in advance, Liz.

Hi all Just finished 2nd weekend of OST (officer safety training for those who don't know) and was wondering what YOU say to a person you have just cuffed and applied the double locks for. e.g - I have double locked these cuffs so they will not get any tighter. They are not designed to be comfortable. I aim to remove the cuffs as soon as possible. if you struggle you may harm yourself or cause chaffing etc lol Just wondering if anyone has anything more memorable or catchy

On the way to HQ today in an unmarked car doing close on 60 down a country road I hear the unmistakable sound of sirens and I can tell they are coming from behind. I start to take up a nearside position to leave room and allow the vehicle in front a clear view of what is coming up behind. The car in front however sees a white Astra van coming towards him with a Class 1 ladder on it roof and moves to the nearside, until the van passes them and then pulls back to not just a more central position, but lining up to pass the car in front of them that has seen the response car pulling out from behind me.
