Hi, Can you confirm endorseable or non endorsable please? Driving with over tinted front windowscreen? Driving with more than 3 passengers on the back seat? Driving with a crack in the view of the driver on front windowscreen? Turning right when a sign prohibits this? (red circle with a right bend shown) Driving with no water in the washers? Thanks in advance. Does anyone know an official storage place with all these official traffic laws present?

I was posted outside an Olympics Venue the other day when I spotted a lady holding up a sign saying "two tickets wanted". I approached her and told her that if anyone was to sell her a ticket then they would be committing an offence. She said "well, so long as I'm not committing an offence I'll carry on". I then told her that tickets bought from non-official sources were not valid and seeing as she'd been seen by all of the stewards then I doubted very much that she would be allowed in if she presented a ticket to them... She was disappointed but polite and accepted this and made her way to an Internet café to have another go and tryin to buy a ticket to something (on…

Cameroon have won seven gold medals in the finals of hide and seek! The competitors - five boxers, a swimmer and a female football player - have not been seen since last weekend. But Jackie Brock-Doyle of London 2012 seems to thinks it's ok because their visas are valid until September! Off course they will all be at Heathrow in September eager to get back to Yaoundé! http://www.bbc.co.uk...africa-19191061

Daily Express puts the Dutch dressage team on the front page [updated] Oh dear. By Alex Hern Published 08 August 2012 7:18 body=http://www.newstatesman.com/blogs/media/2012/08/daily-express-puts-dutch-dressage-team-front-page"] The Daily Express celebrates Britain's record haul of gold medals, putting yesterday's four medallists on the cover: Alistair Brownlee, Laura Trott and Chris Hoy. But who's that representing the dressage? Why, it's Adelinde Cornelissen, Edward Gal and Anky van Grunsven of the Dutch team, with their orange colouring and bronze medals delightfully on show. Oh dear, Daily Express. Oh dear. http://www.newstatesman.co…

As in the heading.. Someone who has been in the UK for over 1 year(Foreign national), has a licence that they could have swapped for a full UK licence but didn't within the 1 year period and has UK provisional. They send off their foreign licence to get swapped, say after 2 years of being in the UK. Does their full entitlement start from the date they send it off to DVLA or is it when DVLA issue the new full licence? I know if a disqual driver applies for their licence back at the end of their ban that once they put their application in the post technically they can then drive again. I don't know if this would apply to swapping a foreign licence as I'm guessing DVLA …

The Ministry of Defence Police (MDP) is currently undertaking its largest ever deployment outside the MOD estate as it supports the 2012 Olympics. More than 150 officers are carrying out a wide range of specialist policing roles as the MDP contributes to the security arrangements for the Games. Their deployment is the culmination of more than four years of preparation by the MDP, which saw officers take part in numerous exercises and planning sessions. BBC just reporting that a missile was thrown. Having watched the replay there is definitely a bottle bouncing (behind lane 5\6) about just as all the runners are in the block and about to run.... There is always one idiot. Glad someone has been nicked. UPDATE http://www.bbc.co.uk...london-19143628 Olympics: Man held after bottle thrown onto 100m track A man has been arrested after a bottle was thrown onto the track seconds before the start of the men's 100m final at the Olympic Stadium. Police have rediscovered their human touch during the London Olympics Ordinary officers using discretion and common sense at the Olympics show the way forward for the force Those of us who had the privilege last Saturday to watch the men’s cycling road race weave its way through the streets of London and on through the Surrey Hills witnessed a policing operation of enormous complexity and risk carried out with quiet aplomb. Not since a dancing policeman led and choreographed a massive crowd down the Mall after the royal wedding last year have we seen the unwritten contract between police and public working so well. On both occasions few words were required, few orde…

Unless I missed it somewhere there doesn't seem to be a 'general discussion' thread about the progress of the Olympic Sports. For example; yesterday I was tired after doing a shift on Saturday evening so plonked myself down in front of the TV to watch some Olympic stuff. I watched the womens cycling, which was good and resulted in a silver for us :new_clap: . Then I watched some archery and table-tennis, both of which I found a bit boring to be honest. The swimming in the evening was good - another medal (bronze) to Becky Adlington :new_clap: . But I have to say: the highlight of the day was definitely the womens beach volleyball. Whoever came up with its inclusion …
