Some time ago I read an entertaining story of a woman who was caught out when falsely reporting of the theft of her iPhone in order to pay for an upgrade then gets out her 'stolen' phone to check an address whilst making the report. In the story, the woman is nicked by one of the specials for "making a false report". As most of you will know I now have a motorbike and we were talking about the fact you often see cyclists and motorbikers with cameras on crash helmets more and more often. A friend of mine brought up a rumour that police can seize the footage from this to help make the case for the rider driving without due care or speeding. My first thoughts are of course we can. I know that there has been a lot around seizing of cameras and footage around terrorism but is there a power in this case to seize footage?? Your thoughts please

Hello Dear colleagues. Really need your help. I bought a car from the insurance company with a category C. I did not know that there is no V5 logbook. The car was paid through the bank, the seller is 500 miles from me, the car was delivered by courier. So back I did not do it. The car on the move, Edith perfect. Damaged front bumper, front headlight and front fender. How can I get a logbook? What is the procedure that is to be done? I do not need to change the bumper, fender and headlight, as the car will go to another country. Can I get a logbook without replacing these parts? thanks in advance. Vlad

Hey guys, Just a quick one that slipped by me at training, and came up at a job a few weeks ago... What satute/common law allows Police access to land, mainly front lawns etc? Am I right in thinking it's only if you suspect someone involved in a crime (in this case willful obstruction of a driveway- dropped curb)? Or do the Police have the same implied permission as Postmen/Milkmen. If someone (as they did) dememnded we left their property obviously that implied permission goes, so what allows us to stay. A few days ago we stopped a car for speeding and the driver showed us the section 10 of the vehicle registration filled in 28 of january of 2011 and he hasn´t the new registration certificate yet. Could the vehicle be used with that section???? How many time has the new keeper for applying the new V5C and drive the car with the section 10?? Here's a random question for you all... Let's say two blokes are getting on each other's nerves and decide to settle their differences in the time-honoued manner with a straight-up, fair fight. One bloke suggests that they 'step outside' and the other agrees. They then find a quiet place and settle their differences. In such a case, what offence is actually being committed? They both agree to the fight, so it can't be assault, and if it's not in public, then no S.5 POA etc or BOP. Don't get me wrong, I'm not the fighting type.
