A court case is pending where someone made threats against another, case due to go ahead but now adjourned. the main witness is now upset due to witness protection asking her for new dates she's not available. once she gave them the guy said wow ur busy just to remind u if court dates falls in any if them dates its ur duty to appear. She was upset as all dates are planned trip away and an operation. When it comes to Pointed/bladed Articles (S.139 CJA 1988), does anyone know the reason behind having an explicit exception for blades that fold and are 3" or less in length? To put it another way, why is a blade that is able to fold away and is 3" long perfectly acceptable for someone to be carrying in the street for no good reason, yet a blade that locks in place or is, say, 4" long is so much more dangerous? Surely you could do someone a similar amount of damage with a folding 3" blade. Hi Not sure if you can help, we are looking at applying for a visa to go to New Zealand, part of this process if police checks. When my husband was 15 (he's now 35), he received a caution for possession of a 'spliff', he has not been in any trouble since. Will this be picked up on the police check, just don't want to declare something that won't be on there anymore or likewise don't want to be seen to hiding anything. Thanks for any advice.

Hi, I was cautioned for assault about 6 years ago and was told by the Police officer that it would remain on my record for 3 years. I am considering applying for Teaching Assistant vacancies and would be required to have an enhanced CRB check. Would it be likely for the caution to show up? Would it be possible for me to go to my local police station and ask them for a PNC check on myself? If the caution does not show up on a PNC check is it possible that it would still appear on a CRB? many thanks

Is it considered trespassing if you are remote controlling a vehicle from public land that enters private land e.g. a remote control car with a camera fitted driving into the grounds of a business? Same question but this time if you are flying a remote control aircraft or helicopter also with camera fitted which flies over neighbouring houses and gardens/ roads/ fields belonging to farmers? ok...was wondering who can help here...my son got stopped in merthyr tydfil in may and the 2 police seized his car and took it away...they didnt charge him with anything and said if he produces his documents at the police staion and pay the fine they will release his car from a compound not owned by the police...so he went down and showed his mot/insurance/log book/drivers licence...tey faxed the info over to the compound and my son went to get his car which they released...when he was stopped the police said without all his documents the car wouldnt be released,,,so he picked it up..and that was that...yesterday he had a court summons for failing to produce his documents…
