Hi, Looking for some advice on what sort of boots to get and where to get them from. I have uniform fitting for a Special Constable in 2 weeks and would like to have boots to take with me. Told they have to be "black laced boots, that can give a high polished shine" Be grateful for any help.

The timescale has been longer than I expected.

I have just received my email saying that my initial application was successful and will be placed in the database until the phase 1 vetting is due to take place.
