Handbag shop owners hit out at police after robbery of unique designer collection Robbery: Police were called to the scene in Egerton Terrace, Knightsbridge on Saturday afternoon (Picture: Google Streetview) A designer handbag store which had £150,000-worth of stock stolen has described the police response as "lacklustre", "deflated" and "broken". The Designer Exchange in Knightsbridge was broken into yesterday and was "robbed, as was the UK, of one of the finest Hermes collections of Birkin and Kelly handbags that were available to buy in a single store, probably in the world", according to the shop's managing director. Dominic Durante said his store was …

Well, it took this government how long to deal with him ? yet the US have done it in what seems to be no time at all. From what I have read, all his hangers on cannot be sent away 'somewhere' because of the ECHR. here we go again. Still, if enough people it would seem vote for UKIP tomorrow, Nigel Farage can begin his quest for the UK to leave the organisation. We can but hope can't we.

Two members of the gang pose on a scooter Footage on web site! A gang of violent robbers who snatched mobile phones from 46 commuters across London in only 11 days were facing jail today. The five-strong gang used a high- powered stolen scooter to target people talking on smartphones or using iPads in the street. Most of the offences took place in affluent streets in Battersea and Wandsworth but the gang also struck in Lambeth, Richmond and Hammersmith & Fulham. On one day in south London 10 offences were committed in five hours. Today police released dramatic footage of one incident taken by a cyclist using a headcam, showing the gang snatching a phone from a…

http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-scotland-north-east-orkney-shetland-27213009 Be interesting to see how this plays out. Seems to be plenty of video evidence from the in car cctv. However they seem to underplay the fact that he was on a grade 1 firearms call. No excuse for dangerous driving but some of the 'quotes' are more than a little inflammatory.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-27539387 The Police Federation of England and Wales has elected a new chairman by the toss of a coin. The 30 members of the voting committee were split between Steve White, an Avon and Somerset Police inspector, and Will Riches, a constable with the Met. The federation has faced accusations of bullying and a lack of transparency and the home secretary told it to change. Mr White 45, has pledged to continue the reforms proposed by outgoing chairman Steve Williams. These include the abolition of separate rank committees (constables, sergeants, inspectors) and a 25% cut in subscription fees, to be funded by reserves. Mr White is the current…

A 'GUNMAN' embarked on a killing spree to avenge the death of his mother before shooting himself in a police stand-off. A police officer was shot dead and residents at an old people's home gunned down, while several people were held hostage, during the incident last Wednesday. But, fortunately, it was all part of a £20,000 Sussex Police training exercise. The county-wide "simulation" culminated at the force's training base at Slaugham Manor, just off the A23. As well as the emergency services, local authorities and health trusts were involved in the exercise, so they could test out how they would deal with such a scenario. The scheme involved about 400 people from mu…

http://news.sky.com/story/1259815/peer-faces-suspension-for-clocking-in-claim If this had been a Police Officer, or anyone else who actually has to work for a living they would have gone to prison. But the snout in the troughers seem to walk away from this crime every time. Anyone in the Met want to create a crime report re this? Would hate for us to be criticised for not crimping and investigating crimes!! This is a crime NCRS insists it be recorded and investigated

Yesterday evening I was shocked to see a party political broadcast on behalf of the bnp (small letters deliberate). I can't recall seeing such a broadcast before, but I may have missed it. I find all that they stand for abhorrent and dislikable to the extreme etc.etc. to say the least, but what I don't understand, is that if HMG of the day have the same thoughts about the party as me, and I am sure others too, why don't they simply declare the bnp as an illegal political party. Another thing is that many moons ago, I was on aid (by request) at the Cenotaph in Whitehall on remembrance Sunday. After the marchpast in the morning, I was ready with others to be stood down. Only…
