Police had no lawful justification for shooting dead a man in London eight years ago, a public inquiry has found. Azelle Rodney, 24, was shot six times in Edgware after the car he was in was stopped by Met Police officers in 2005. An officer known as E7, who said he opened fire because he believed Mr Rodney had picked up a gun, could now face criminal charges. Mr Rodney's mother, Susan Alexander, has demanded an apology from the Met for his "execution". Former High Court judge Sir Christopher Holland has released his findings following the public inquiry into the death. He said E7 "could not rationally have believed" Mr Rodney had picked up a firearm. Ms Alexander s…

Excellent work by an officer in West Mids, think there's no doubt this would have ended in another murder. I expect some wet social worker felt sorry for him and concluded he was safe to release. In the US he'd have rightly received several concurrent life sentences! http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/crime/11144384/Mass-killer-Harry-Street-is-detained-indefinitely-after-admitting-bomb-plot.html

We have heard all this rhetoric before about what she will do, but does nothing. We get this every time an election is in the offing, but then it is all forgotten when they get in power. She was going to cure immigration, but it is worse now than before they came to power, and it took her four years to get rid of Hamza and Qatarda. She is all wind and you know what.

A sergeant who was overlooked for promotion and suffered from race discrimination and victimisation has said that he has "no regrets" bringing the case to an employment tribunal. In an interview with PoliceOracle.com former Bedfordshire Police sergeant Harmit Bahra said that he felt "forced" to bring allegations of race discrimination and victimisation to a hearing against the force. The tribunal awarded Mr Bahra, who retired from the force in July, £209,188, which included loss of earnings due to being overlooked for promotion and £30,000 for injury to feelings. The claims brought to the tribunal include being overlooked for promotion despite completing both his in…
