A police force has apologised after tweeting an image of two men dressed in Nazi uniforms standing next to a German military vehicle. The picture was shared from Greater Manchester Police (GMP)'s official traffic account on Sunday. The tweet was captioned: "M62 J22 On the west Yorkshire border. These two likely lads trying to invade". GMP apologised saying the "unacceptable" post had "caused offence" and had since been deleted. One Twitter user complained the tweet was "not right". Two people have been arrested following a fight in Piccadilly Gardens which ended with dozens of youths arguing with police officers. A Met police officer who wrongly seized a Lamborghini and was then caught speeding has been given points on his driving licence. The officer and a colleague confiscated the £200,000 Huracan supercar near Heathrow in June after checks mistakenly indicated it had no insurance. As they drove it to a pound the car’s hidden tracker clocked the vehicle travelling at up to 63mph in a 30mph zone - prompting the luxury car hire firm which owned the Lamborghini to claim police had taken it for a "joyride". The vans were stopped and stolen on the M11 and M25 by fake officers in an unmarked car using blue lights. High Town Road in Luton was closed off after a car crashed into a shop, killing a teenager and injuring a man A teenage girl has died after the car she was in crashed into a shop after failing to stop for police. Police officers signalled for it to pull over before it hit a building in High Town Road, Luton, at 22:20 BST on Tuesday. The girl, one of two passengers, died at the scene. Video cameras attached to officers' uniforms are to be worn by a police force after a trial was deemed a success. West Yorkshire Police are to phase in the cameras for all officers after a pilot scheme in Bradford. The devices film while officers are out on duty and could be used to gather evidence for court cases. Assistant Chief Constable Andy Battle said the £2m project would have "significant and tangible benefits". The body-worn cameras are switched on by the officer when needed.
