Henry Hicks died after his moped collided with another vehicle on Wheelright Street in Islington Four Met police officers face possible dismissal after a jury found an 18-year-old man died when his moped crashed during a police pursuit. Henry Hicks, 18, was trying to flee from police in two unmarked cars when he died, an inquest jury found. The four constables, based at Islington, will face gross misconduct hearings in relation to the death. Officers conducted the pursuit without authorisation from a senior officer, the police watchdog said. The Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) directed the Met Police to launch proceedings against the two police driver…

Shocking footage has emerged showing a police officer push a woman to the ground during a call-out for suspected domestic violence. The woman appears to be walking away from him when the officer shoves her in the back, causing her to fall over. A neighbour filming from an upstairs window in Colne, Lancashire, caught what happened on a mobile phone camera. Lancashire Police admitted the woman was pushed back ‘for the personal safety of the officers’ after one PC was headbutted and another racially abused. Witness Jodie Rainford watched what happened from an upstairs bedroom and took the video. Jodie, a 23-year-old cleaner, said: ‘I took a video for Snapchat and showe…

Jamelia, a British singer and TV presenter, has spoken publicly about being racially abused by a man she believes was a police officer, while taking her two daughters to school. https://www.buzzfeed.com/fionarutherford/jamelia-reports-racial-abuse I've put a NSFW tag on this one due to the title of the story and the same word being used throughout the article. If it is a Police officer then good riddance as there is no place for someone like that in the force but based on the account despite the claims this is a Police officer, I think on the balance of probabilities it won't be and will be security or something similar.

Full story I shared this for the words of the defence solicitor: Now I don't know about a lot of you but I would prefer someone giving me a slap over being spat on. There is far less risk of injury through that than the "no skin contact" route, communicable illness is a very real risk. Then there is the fact it's just plain disgusting.

Four police officers must answer claims of misconduct over a man who went missing and later committed suicide, according to its watchdog. Kazimierz Radloff, 64, from Dudley, was found dead on 6 July last year. The Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) said that two days before he was found relatives warned he indicated he intended to kill himself. There was no indication earlier police intervention would have altered the outcome, the IPCC said. 'Words of advice'West Midlands Police have now decided three police constables and an acting inspector will have to answer a case for misconduct. They would be "subject to management action including words of advic…

Armed police walking around Tesco in broad daylight http://www.chesterchronicle.co.uk/news/chester-cheshire-news/watch-armed-police-officers-walking-11409085 Oh my god they eat!!! On a more serious note, people should feel protected by seeing the odd cop wearing a sidearm. Especially, at a time where there is an increased level of threat.

26/06/16 was London's Gay Pride event. The emergency services have represented themselves for some time. You will all know I expect and want professional policing at all times, community events aside when I fully accept certain participation in certain ways. Yesterday, at the community event, a police officer who was marching on behalf of the police, proposed to his boyfriend. I thought it a wonderful demonstration of today's police force and I wish the pair of them a long and happy partnership/marriage. Well done boys, all the happiness for your futures Link
