Hi, I will be applying to join Lincolnshire Police as a new PC recruit as soon as recruitment opens up later this month. I obviously want to give myself the best possible chance of doing well, so want to start preparing some examples of how I have previously met the required competencies ready for completing the application form. I am aware of the core competencies on the college of policing website, but on the Lincolnshire Police website it refers to their own set of values and beliefs. Looking to transfer as I've heard Lincs is looking more promising for Specials now. Any thoughts?

I have just submitted my application to join Lincs Police as a Special Constable, just wanted to hear other peoples experiences of applying, training and being a Special Constable with Lincs Police.

Hi. Is there anybody here that are heading for the June intake for Special Constable? I was successful and interview and passed my medical today. I have got my biometric on Monday and my Fitness on Wednesday. If all goes well, I am hoping it be based in Lincoln.

Hello all Wondering if anyone could help with a few questions I've got. Im a former SC served 18 months in Cambridgeshire however had to leave last November due to a change in job and personal circumstances am desperate to get back into specialing I miss it greatly am thinking of pinging an application off to Lincs as i live close to the Lincs border i understand that they offer intensive 2 week courses and im keenest on that option if i do get through the application process. is this course residential? And is it held at the force HQ in Lincoln? As i dont drive and itd be a bit of a pain and costly to commute from home to HQ everyday and hows the …

Just a quick question.... Has anyone stayed in the provided accommodation at HQ during their training?? I am currently trying to decide whether to stay or drive between home and HQ (1.5 hours each way) on a daily basis, wondered if anyone had experiences of the accommodation and if they would recommend it (or not).
