Hi I'm just wondering what to do. I'm wanting to work in Leigh but have Wigan on my application. Would it be easier for me to gain independence faster in Wigan then move over into Leigh, or is there enough people and work in Leigh to gain independence just as quick as Wigan?

It's my understanding that GMP no longer issue card holders with the force badge on. However I've heard there will be a company present at our attestation selling them, is that true? I've also found a company called Jeeves badges that manufacture these holders to order but will only sent to a police address with specific details etc, would GMP, specifically the CoM division allow me to do this if I paid?

I'm currently interested in joining the greater Manchester police but I have little idea other than joining as a pcso, which I cannot find a recruitment page for can anyone help me with this?

Hello All, I was wondering if there is any chance of the Sepura Radios in Manchester being able to listen in to a Motorloa radio from Preston (Lancs). There is a channel on the Sepura radio that says "Preston" but I've sat here and listened to it for an hour while no chatter what so ever. Might seem an odd question. Hi everyone, I had my final interview on Monday and got told I'd be contacted latest by the end of this week. I was just wondering if anybody has heard back from their interviews? I know somebody did because he had stated he needed to know urgently as he was making annual leave plans. Thank you.
