Hi guys, I've been filling out my Special application for ages now but I've really hit a rock with this question, I'm sure I've got something to put for it but I can't think of anything. here's the question;

I know I am pre-empting things a little as I have only just sent my application off and don't even know if I have passed the paper sif, but I always look positively at things. What is the best preparation I can do for the fitness test. I am pretty good with pushing and pulling weights, my upper body strength is good. It's the beep test I have concerns about. Someone said jogging for 20 minutes 3 times a week would prepare me, but that seems quite little. Thanks in advance

Hi, I have posted this question in the recruitment section of the forum, however, a couple of people have suggested I post in my force area as they differ. The main query I have is I am wondering how long it takes to hear back after sending an application for the specials in? I posted my application last Friday (27/03/15) and am just wondering what sort of waiting time I should prepare myself for? Any guidance or past experiences would be great to hear!
