Hi, I submitted my specials application by post to dyfed powys police on 27 March. Upon checking their website today I am surprised to see the methods of application are different and the department to post it to is different! Will this affect my application? Do I need to send another one to the new department listed?

Hi guys, I finally sent my application off today. Just wondering how long it takes before you hear if you get through. What is the process? Any advice or experiences would be appreciated so I have an idea what to expect

Hi, I am wanting to apply for the police when I finish university in the summer and until then want to apply as a special. I am aware that my eyesight doesn't meet the requirements at the moment. I am booked to have laser eye surgery consultation next week to find out if surgery is a viable option for me. If it is what sort of time scale should I leave before applying?

I noticed that Dyfed Powys are recruiting in several areas for the role of PCSO. I am interested in applying for this,however I have an active application with South Wales police as a special (shortlisted so far). As a PCSO civilian role, does it mean that I am able to apply and only applying for one force at a time doesn't apply. Thanks, Jon
