Tapatalk Beta Release

Folks I know some of you used tapatalk quite a lot prior to the upgrade and are wanting it back asap. We want it back for all of you too and with this in mind I have decided to install the BETA release of the tapatalk plugin. Tapatalk will again work on this site but please be mindful certain aspects will be broken, it is a beta and not final release. Instant Notifications

Profile Photo - Required For All Users

New Forum Layouts

We have now introduced for our VIP and Lifetime VIP members the ability to change their forum layout from the standard Default view.  VIP and Lifetime VIP users will now be able to choose to move the sidebar from the right to the left of the page, they will also be able to choose from the standard list view to an all new grid view layout. Just a very quick blog post to show the ability to poke other members has been introduced on the forum. Its just a fun and friendly way of helping you interact with others. Simply hover over a users name and hit the poke button on their profile card. Mentions

One of the new features available to all members is to use the mentions facility when you want to alert another member to your post. It really is as simple as typing there name proceeded by the @ symbol. If I wanted to alert Chief Rat to this thread then I would simply type @Chief Rat and he will receive a notification that he has been mentioned in a post. This feature is available to all members site wide and will hopefully become part of the way in which you will use Police Community.

Well we said it was coming back and it is ... The first draw will be on the 1st December 2014 and again at the start of the month every month moving forward. What's not to like?

What's not to like about this place? It is but just a few months old and almost un-discernible from from how it looked on 31st October 2014. With this latest addition, the blogs section, we once again have something that our competitors don't have. We have the membership, we have the Admin and mod team to support the forum and we have the desire to see it improve constantly. It's not been without its trials. Some of you may have already noticed that when you start a new thread you are now required to add at least two tags. You can add more should you wish (200 is the maximum) but you will need to add at least two. Why have we done this? We've done this to help the forum make connections and to help with the indexing of subjects.
