In the new year, 16-year-olds will be able to legally drive some cars on the UK's roads. A new category of moped licence is being introduced on 19 January 2013. It will allow people aged 16 and over to drive so-called 'light quadricycles'. Already popular in many European countries, the vehicles look and drive like a car, but are no more powerful than a moped and aren't allowed to go faster than 28mph (45km/h). But road safety campaigners say they're worried teenagers will only have to pass a test on a moped to drive one. One of the UK's first light quadricycles is being launched at at the Motorcycle Live show in Birmingham, which starts on Saturday (24 November). T…

A drunk man who climbed into a crocodile enclosure in Australia and attempted to ride a 5m (16ft) long crocodile has survived his encounter. The crocodile, called Fatso, bit the 36-year-old man's leg, tearing chunks of flesh from him as he straddled the reptile. He received surgery to serious wounds to his leg and is recovering in hospital, police say. He had been chucked out of a pub in the town of Broome for being too drunk. The man, Michael Newman, climbed over a fence and tried to sit on the 800kg (1,800lb) saltwater crocodile. "Fatso has taken offence to this and has spun around and bit this man on the right leg," Sgt Roger Haynes of Broome police told journalis…

Alex salmond has made a lot of changes in scotland from Law to Education which has created small but stark differences between England and Scotland, this is a good thing for the SNP but my question is this... What happens if the people Vote No in a Referendum for Scottish Independence ? Does it really make sense having a United Kingdom where you can get free education on one place but not another ? :new_sneaky2:

http://www.dailymail...d-luggage.html# I've flown Ryanair once before, attracted by the cheap flights. But I can say i'll never do it again. I can see where this poor woman comes from. I know people will say "you pay for what you get", but I expect some level of customer service. Anybody had good/bad experiences with them?
