Evening to all, Name's Danny, was told about this website by a friend who said it was a good place for info and stories about policing and police recruitment. A bit about myself, got 9 months till I can start an application process with my local force, so got a few goals in mind for the meantime, BMI to drop, fitness to nail etc, but really looking forward to the time I can get my application in. Been sitting on this for 2 1/2 years now just waiting. Unfortunately a misdemeanour from when I was 17 has kept me back but now I'm in my last 9 months I'm determined to get myself in the best place possible. Expect questions over the next year, or if anyone has anything the…

Hi... Signed up so I could get general info more easily. sifting through page after page of out of date dribble isn't my style. As a member of other forums, I find that making the odd freind is never an impossibilty, and learning new things tends to become rather alot easier. My real titles Joe... I'm 18..., a keen (Learner) motorcyclist, occasional hiker/camper, musician. However, not an ECILOP OCIFFER. Respectful as I am for the Law, and it's enforcement personell... I really have no Idea if I'd have the patience to do the job myself. Think thats as much about me as there is to know. Ta.

First of all, hello to everyone on here. I am thinking of joining the force and have quick question re: the medical. I suffered a brain haemorrhage back in 2002, it was caused by an aneurysm that burst which put me in hospital for a while. I have the all clear now with no more aneurysm's to report. Would this go against me in the medical?

The third, with I'm sure most of you will have heard about is the Northern Police Treatment Centre which has two bases, Auchterarder, Perthshire and Harrowgate. I broke my neck (amongst other bones) in a climbing accide…
