Mr Dale Cartwright has been appointed as the new Specials Chief Officer for South Wales Police, leading the force’s Special Constabulary as they support regular police officers to fight crime. http://www.south-wal...-special-chief/ Good luck with new post. Having said that, 25 years old seems a little young to me. Am I wrong on this point?

http://www.bbc.co.uk...hester-14183271 Two prisoners have escaped from a jail van after it was ambushed by armed men on the outskirts of Manchester city centre. Kirk Bradley and Tony Downes, both 25, fled after a number of men attacked the van in Trinity Way at about 0830 BST We sure G4S is up to the job, don`t seem all that capable to me. One has to ask if your average G4S person is prepared to take on nutters with weapons, as the Police have to do on a regular basis. If they are not, as appears from the above story, maybe keep them and other security companies well away from Policing matters.

Home Office website blocked; 'Anonymous' hackers blamed The hacking group Anonymous is alleged to have blocked the Home Office website, apparently in response to government plans for email surveillance. Shortly before the website became inaccessible a message was posted blaming a "high volume of traffic". Earlier in the week the Home Office said it planned to "legislate as soon as parliamentary time allows" to bring in email surveillance measures. Ministers say change is neede…

Last night (05/04/12) The Guv received a request for assistance following a crime that I was very upset to hear about. This is the first time that I have received such as request and I was honoured that people feel they can ask for my help. I would like you all to meet a very special little girl called Ella Longworth (pictured below with her mom Sarah) http://thedcigenehunt.wordpress.com/ I urge you to read this, if you can help out, you know what to do. More on this story here. http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/liverpool-news/local-news/2012/04/05/disabled-wavertree-tot-ella-longworth-s-disney-holiday-snaps-and-walking-aids-taken-in-burglary-100252-30697776/ Disabled…
