http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-devon-17763884 Well, this sucks. Why has it taken 15 months for the prosecution to be brought? And why could the case not be heard on a different day? I saw a trial postponed to a different day because the defendants were late. The prosecutor was spitting sparks, saying they should have been found guilty in their absence.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-17781655 So because someone gets found not guilty the arrest is now illegal? Hmm, be interesting to see what there is to back up his side of the argument. Also, arrested because he's black? Maybe Paddick is right, and Jenny Jones is probably moist at the sight of the taser use (not that we can discuss either of them in this forum, hope this post doesn't get binned for daring to mention it).

Ive seen this story kicking up quite a stink today. As far as I'm concerned just because this chap had to undergo surgery it does not mean he should avoid charges. If I murdered someone and on my escape I got shot by CO19 I would still expect to be charged, yet I've seen plenty of lefties slating the police and CPS for this. Hopefully the IPCC will investigate and bring about any necessary charges and this guy will be brought to justice for crimes he may have committed.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-17766713 x2 GBH W/I and attempted murder = at least 14 years? Attempted murder alone is meant to be a life sentence of a minimum of 15 years if I'm not mistaken? These scumbags have paralysed a young girl for life meanwhile on the HUNT to kill rival gang members and the judge thinks that's an acceptable sentence? Sometimes it makes me think why we bother.... Thoughts?

http://www.bbc.co.uk...-herts-17754001 Hope the two officers make a speedy recovery and hope they lock up the scumbags for assaulting police officers.

Plunge Death: Police 'Allowed' Victim To Be Alone Before Fall An IPCC investigation into the death of a young woman who fell from a block of flats will focus on why police officers allowed her to be alone in a bedroom prior to her fall. Shanice-Paris Goff (18) died at the scene after plunging from the 17th floor of a block of flats in Woolwich, London, on April 10. Police had been allowed entry to the flat beforehand as part of a pre-planned arrest enquiry relating to a recall to prison. The IPCC says it is investigating the circumstances surrounding the two officers’ decision to allow Ms Goff to be unsupervised in a bedroom prior to her fall. It says it will revie…

Video footage of a convicted murderer being sentenced. A convicted killer whose murder sentencing at the High Court in Edinburgh is the first in Britain to be filmed for broadcast on the same day, has been jailed for life. David Gilroy was told he would serve a minimum of 18 years for killing Suzanne Pilley, whose body has never been found. Only the judge, Lord Bracadale, in the proceedings was filmed. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-17752209
