Well guys, I first became aware of this on Facebook yesterday evening, before it made the local news. Was going to post on here last night in general discussion but to be honest I didn't really want to give the idiots any more 'fame' by spreading it about online. I don't currently have a link to the video, but I saw it on Facebook last night, being shared all over the place, with the usual condemning of the officer comments. What the video shows is an off duty officer who had bravely waded in to stop a fight and was restraining one culprit by holding his arm around his chest (didn't look like it was around his neck to me, which is what they are claiming). South Yorkshire PC Lee Lucas, 39, of Prince of Wales Road, Sheffield, also sent "suggestive and flirtatious" messages to vulnerable women. He admitted eight counts of making indecent images and one of misconduct in a public office at a previous hearing at Sheffield Crown Court. Lucas shared thousands of messages with eight women. It was feared hundreds of PCSOs would be lost Hundreds of police community support officers (PCSOs) who faced being axed by the West Midlands force have won a reprieve. Last month, Police and Crime Commissioner David Jamieson said that the number could fall from 535 to 119 by 2020.
