The MET Officer left her baby alone on several occasions whilst in a hotel and then resisted arrest after the hotel called the NYPD. She was also arrested on drugs charges in relation to possession of codeine. However, the charges were subsequently dropped.     1 hour ago Fraudsters have conned people out of about £25,000 by convincing them they were taking part in undercover operations to target criminals. Scammers phoned residents of Abingdon, Oxfordshire, pretending to be police officers and fraud investigators. Victims were convinced to take out cash, seal it in an envelope, and then hand it to couriers who called on them later, police said.     Parts of Wrexham which suffer higher crime levels could see an increased police presence under new proposals. Wrexham council funds police community support officers in the county and wants to switch focus to where they are deployed. The plans also include allowing communities to set up a network of special constables with support from North Wales Police.
