Having tried B&Q, Focus, tool shops...you name it...for epaulette wheels, I finally located some today. Given that the pins on the numerals are threaded, I've been hunting for very small bolts to hold them in place. I decided to try the model shop in the Merchant City this morning and came up trumps! The owner DOESN'T have any more as I only got them because we searched through a tray he just throws bits n bobs in, but there must be more model shops throughout the city for those of you who are still hunting! Does anyone know the exact date when all 45 duties must be completed in order to qualify for the annual bounty? I had it in an email from SPC Co. but think Ive deleted it!

Timetable has been followed to an extent at Jackton but having not done much (any in the case of syndicate 3) baton training, I'm wondering if the CS Exposure will take place tomorrow. Did anyone hear anything mentioned? I'll need to bring my contact lens stuff just in case

Hey folks, Question about the hair screening. My acceptance letter stipulated that "although I had been appointed prior to the ore employment substance misuse screening being introduced (hair), we would still be subject to random testing (urine). However it states in the induction timetable, Tuesday 19th "photographing, fingerprinting and hair. Does this mean potentially despite our offers stating we are not subject to this, we still face it? I would be fine. Never taken anything knowingly. Just paranoid as written this off as a worry till today. Would be my luck for things to go wrong! I can't imagine they would imply we skip it then insist on it anyway. The ore employm…

Personally I think today went really well, I was quite surprised personally by how confident everyone was whilst dealing with us kicking off! Strathclyde recently has gone through large recruiting campaigns in both the specials and regulars , whether it be previous experience or being presently trained what would you like to be/have been trained on to get you ready for deployment? on a personal note , the training i undertook as a special i had to hound the training dept for as our training (as aspecial) wasnt high on their agenda. What would YOU like to be different or have the opportunity to do?
