Does anyone know if notts officers (p.c's or specials) can use public transport free of charge when travelling to and from a duty? I've heard differing opinions from different people.

Does anyone know when notts are looking at recruiting again for PC?

So I failed medical today. I had postnatal anxiety last year and came off my medication (which was a very very low dose) two months ago and on those grounds I've been failed. I'm shocked an suprised that I've failed because of this. The Dr also said she would deferred ne also if I was still on the medication. Can't seem to agree. Will I have to wait 6 months and start again.

Hello all! I'm new to this forum - firstly thank you so much for all the helpful advice and info on here, it really is fantastic to see such a lovely and helpful online community!! I'm through the paper side and I have my assessment (SJT/English test) on the 29/7 for nottingham, then interview on 31/7... Very very nervous and just hoping it will all be okay! Hi guys, I asked this of a member a few weeks ago in a personal message, but they must be pretty swamped at the minute, so I thought I'd open it up! As the title suggests, I may put in for a transfer to Nottinghamshire. This would be as a Special Constable. Just a quick bit about myself, I used to live in Bestwood, if anyone knows it, when I was very little, it wasn't nice if I recall correctly! However, my Dad stayed there for a few years after me and Mum left, and he loved it (didn't live in Bestwood though, maybe there's a connection here :D) But I've lived most of my life in nearby Leicester. Three years ago I moved to Leeds for University, my last exam is next…

Nottingham is launching its own TV channel on 27th May. It can be viewed on Freeview channel 8. No idea what the programming will be like, but for those who live, work or play in Nottingham it should be quite interesting.

I found out today I have been promoted to S/Sgt following an interview last Saturday. Did anyone else apply who was successful or not?
