does anybody know if (when i get it) i can use my warrant card to travel on the underground and busses, living in watford and working in london this will save me abut 6 million pounds a year (roughly).

As the title suggests, does anybody start training on the 16th in stevanage? On a side note, is anybody driving from watford to stevanage or know of a better way to get there without travelling to Kings cross or finsbury park?

Hi, sorry to ask a probably frequently asked question but all the threads I've read on here regarding the epaulettes are from 2008-ish. When I went to my uniform fitting last week at cambridge HQ the nice fellow said I'll have SC epaulettes but I've read on here that Herts specials don't have them? Bit confused, maybe as hert/cambs have merged for uniforms he's got it wrong? I'm a herts special and so far from what I've read we don't have an SC insignia on our epaulettes, can anyone confirm if this is true?

Hi guys. I know this has been covered a few times, however for clarification, what is done in the medical? heard all sorts from different people. Heard a lot about a hair sample? But then a lot of people have contradicted that by saying no hair sample. Also what else is going to happen.

Hi guys, I am mid-way through the application stage for Special. I have passed the assessment day/interview and have submitted by vetting/medical/eyesight forms. I have also got my medical booked in for around 10 days time and just wanted to get an idea on what to expect at this medical. I've been told that I have got an hour with the nurse and then around 30 minutes with the doctor for a 'physical examination' afterwards. What should I expect during these 90 minutes, and more importantly.... the 'physical examination'? Thanks guys Dan
