Essex Police

Hi Everyone, This is the first time posting on this site, so hope i'm in the right place :) I've recently had the amazing news that I've passed the AC after my 3rd attempt and have a final interview now booked in. Any tips for this would be much appreciated going forwards. It's not far away, and I'd be gutted to fall down at this stage.

Just wondered what’s taking in to consideration when you get your posting to a station. Other than organisational needs, what else is considered? Where you live ?

Hi all, Havent posted on here in a very long time and apologies if there is already another thread with this info on it I'm a PC looking at a potential transfer to Essex Police into a uniform post which is currently advertised Can anyone shed some light on what state Essex Police is in at the moment and if it is worth transferring? Watching the force: Essex, it seems the officer behind the custody desk is dressed in blue and is a member of police staff instead of the usual custody sergeant. Do Essex have custody sergeants?

Hello! Been debating putting in a transfer request to Essex Police for a while now... Has anyone on here transferred to Essex and if so, what was the process like? or If anyone else has any information about this I'd be grateful! Hello all, thank you for reading. Some people on here know my story but here's a brief outline for those that don't. I passed assessment and interview back in November of last year, and had my medical around December 18th. Occupational health assessment was outsourced (independent of the police) and I failed at this stage. The occupational health team attempted to contact my GP - who didn't bother responding for 4 months, and I was only made aware of this and advised of my fail, 2 days before training was due to commence. Essex police got a lot of different people involved and moved me from the occupation health which is separate from the police, to their in-house medic…

Does anyone one her have any insider knowledge on whether essex are likely to open their doors for PC transfers in the near future? I have been monitoring their website for nearly a year know and still nothing . It seems a lot of forces surrounding are accepting applications just not essex.
