Is there a referrer link I can follow for police-supplies.co.uk? I need to order some stuff but would like to use such a link so the forum gets something to help with the running. I am a vip member so don't see the ads, or would logging out and using the ad to get there count?

'Evening all! I am going on a cruise very soon and there will be a formal night included. I currently am without a dinner jacket so I was wondering what would your thoughts be on me taking my Police tunic instead?

Hi All, Apologies if this is in the wrong section, new to this forum! I have recently been offered and accepted to join Sussex Police as a Contact Handler, I start in October and have a formal offer of work but my vetting is yet to be cleared. I am a natural worrier and although I have nothing to hide and have declared everything and anything, I don't want to find myself giving in my notice for my current job and then fail my vetting- leaving me unemployed- I have been told that vetting may not be complete until after I have started! Can anyone help here? I will need to give my notice in, in the next few weeks, any advice is much appreciated. Many Thanks!

Hello all, id like to get some impartial advice from you guys on my simple caution - Assault By Beating. Here is what happened: The day before my arrest... I had my friend round and he like to play fight, but it really hurts when he does stuff to demonstrate how to attack someone. So its 21:30 and I say I'm going to bed as i am tired, my wife them says you are always sleeping (I have mental health issues). My friend then says you are not going to bed. Anyway I end up going in doors, lay on the sofa and pretend I am sleeping in the hope he will leave. My wife comes in and tries to wake me, but I continue to act like I'm sleeping so she gets my friend, she sits on the sof…

Hello, I'm a police officer in the United States. I am trying to join your forum to ask your help in locating the name of an ancestor from England. I tried to find a discussion forum that has residents of England, but my search engines like to give me American results. I found your forum, and I am a police officer. I would appreciate any help you could give. Here is the information I have on the person: William Priestley, born around 1726 or 1730 in Priestleyville, England (possibly Leeds?). Died in 1800 in Rockbridge, Virginia (United States) Married to Mary Hall. Some American paperwork misspells her name as Mary Pressly or Presley. They had 6 children: Eleanor, J…

I understand that we get a uniform tax relief of whatever it is a year, but I overheard some colleagues the other day (who I don't know) talking about claiming back some monmey for boots and other stuff they'd bought for the job, like kits bags and peli torch etc. Is that something we can do? Or maybe they were discussing whether we could... Thanks :)
