Hi all, a question regarding licence types. I have recently been looking in to getting a motorcycle licence but I have never rode a bike and I am wondering what licence I would need. I have done some research - I am over 24 with a full driving licence (obtained 2007). Being new to motorcycles I would prefer to ride something small at first i.e. 125cc to learn the ropes. Could I ride a 125cc and would be a case of CBT and L plates? Thanks

Hi guys, not sure if I've posted this in the right place. Due to my work I have been asked to submit myself to nppv2 and nppv3 vetting. This is so I can work on police sights as a contractor. I was just wondering what exactly this entails. Does this ever include Internet checks? Checking your facebook etc, or any sort of internet activity or history? Im a very private person and don't like the thought of any personal information getting sifted through. I could be getting paranoid for no reason. People have told me they always check your internet history and others have told me they never do that. Help me out guys :)

Hi all, new user here. I've looked all over the site and the help files to find out how to send a PM, and I'm stumped. When I click my username in the top-left corner, a drop-down menu appears but there is no 'messaging' feature there, as the help file indicates there should be. Do I have to reach a certain post count before it's enabled? I'd like to send a PM to request access to one of the closed sub-forums... I'm prepared to hear 'you are, in fact, thick'. NW

Hi, I was wondering if any mods could help me here, I usually uncheck the remember me box when I log into any site as its not only me who uses this computer. However 1 day when I logged on here I ticked the box by mistake, and, despite signing out every time I come off the forum, when I come back on again, I'm mysteriously already logged in! So either someone else who uses the computer knows my password, or its just doing it automatically. HELP?? :lol:

Exaclty. On most forums, moderators have the option of cutting out a bunch of posts from one topic and creating a brand new topic from them. This would get rid of off-topic conversations but allow for interesting discussions to develop unstifled as they would simply flow from where they started. Can this be done on this forum?
