Its a Thrisday afternoon on the outskirts of a very large town. The sun is still shining and people are merrily whistling away as they walk down the road. The smell of BBQ's is strong in the air as people make the most of the glorious weather. At the side of the road you witness a tramp dressed in rags rummaging through the bins trying to find the remains of a half eaten sandwich and a drop of tea. You nod politley as you walk past and tip him 10p in bronze. Your attention is then drawn to a stange man sitting on the kerb inbetween two parked cars. The man appears to have a very large bed sheet wrapped around him, covering his entire body and also the kerb. Concerned f…

This isn't so much a scenario as its actually happened. A guy registers a domain, hosts it, puts up a decent looking template, advertising VERY tempting products at cheap but realistic prices and starts in business. He only accepts bank transfers as he says thats the safest way (I think it is, for him not to get caught, not for the people paying!) and his address is a hotel that is in no way connected to him. People start to realise its all a lie, he is emailing them telling them to calm down as their goods are coming (they are not, he's just buying some time to do some more deals), the banks are saying that there is no comeback as its a transfer, nobody made you pay i…

Your driving down a motorway, on one of the most dangerous roads in Scotland, and on the hardshoulder of a junction leading off to a very busy town you notice a car pulled in with a young child (maybe 4-6) sitting on a child portable toilet doing his business right in the middle of the hardshoulder at the rear of the car. It's about 6pm, so it's very busy with a lot of fast cars and your offduty. If you call it in, the chances are the women will be gone by the time someone onduty arrives. Do you pull over and have a word? And if so what action would you take or would you leave it and continue your business. Note: This did happen, and got me thinking as the child was…

Looking at a thread that was shut down i was thinking of more this one for thought. There are some teens sat around the park bench all chatting, playing on skateboards and not really causing a nuicense to anyone when you spot one of the teens tying his mates shoelaces together without the person knowing. The gut with his laces tied together then stands up to chase another of his friends when he falls over and hits his face on the floor giving him a bloddy nose. Are there any offence commited?

Your on duty one Friday evening in the town centre and your attention is drawn to a female who is with a male. She is shouting at another male but you can't hear clearly what is being said. The female with her partner (turns out to be her husband) approaches you shouting loudly and well in drink saying "that man over there is bang out of order he's just called me a drunken slapper. I'm not having that I want him arrested". Her husband of course backs up the wife's version of events. You approach the male in question and he denys saying anything. There are no independent witnesses just the husband. What would be your course of action ???

Its 1430hrs on a Saturday afternoon in a busy town centre. Lots of people around moving around quickly to get to the various shops to purchase some goods. Mrs A wants to pop into Argos and purchase a new chrome kettle as her previous one has failedf due to limescale. She has seen from the distance that they currently have a sale on and is also quite excited by the launch of their new catalogue. As she pounds the pavement hearding towards the big red argos sign, beads of sweat start dripping down her fat red face. Finally she reaches the store and enters. Mr G is merrily walking along the pavement when you notice one of his shoelaces are undone. You approach him and advi…

You recognise him as the lad who's trying to get into the Police and has been in a couple of times before. What do you say to him about the time and what do you do?

You're at home with the mrs, doing nothing much, when she tells you she's just seen someone jump a fence into what she thinks is a neighbours garden, you make your way to the alleyway where they would be at the rear of the block of houses you live in and find three youths, 2 are on the opposite side of a green wire fence that leads to a canal towpath and the 3rd is stood in the same alleyway that you're in, as you approach you ask what they are doing, which is met with a swift foxtrot oscar or i'll stab you. What would you do? I grabbed hold of the little darling and introduced him to pain, home office approved of course dragged him out of the alley and made him lie fa…

    1. You are on duty and on routine patrol when you see two males arguing in the street. Upon speaking with one of the males he tells you that he is wanted on warrant for non-payment of fines. You do a PNC (he is shown for a previous seperate offence), Warrant and Intel check and all three show no trace of a warrant, is he still arrestable? 2. Same as above except while making enquiries he becomes arrestable for sec 5 public order, do you arrest for S.5 alone or both S.5 and warrant (that doesn't seem to exist)

PS farm was subject to a recent number of thefts from locked sheds. One night, Lord Victor and his wife, Betty took shelter and hid in a near by hedge, at 1am, they saw two youths, A and B, both aged around 17 approach a shed. Both kneeling down, inspecting the lock. This was seen by Lord Victor and his wife. In the excitement, Betty pinched Lord Victors bottom and he made a loud yelp. This was heard by both A and B and they ran off. Has A and B committed any offences?

Ok folks here's one for you. This is based on real events. A man walks his dogs out late in the evening , around 10.30 pm for a last walk before he puts his dogs to bed for the night. Both dogs are exceptionally well trained , ( with certificates to prove this ) he lets off the lead the first dog a spaniel , but before he can let off the second dog , he encounters his neighbour whom has two larger dogs who are both on harnesses and long leads , the ladys dalmation whom is known well in the neighbourhood for being abit of an unpredictable thug , unprovocked attacks the mans spayed bitch whom is off the lead , the woman says to the man that " her dalmation is only tryin…

"Hey Basically at beginning of July i went to have a makeover shoot, and it was a disaster. I paid for alot for things that i never got - like facial, hair style manicure etc. And then they were really hard selling the pictures to me - quoting £2300 for 10 picturess.
