Anyone see his comments yesterday about how good the queen is doing 60 years and comparing the average police officer who retires after 20 years!!!!! Laughable to say the least, couldn't even get his facts right. He made several mistakes on camera and looked like he had been tuned up by someone to dig us in the ribs.

Mr Winsor should take note. Similar acts of selflessness in the face of danger occur up and down the country every day by the very people whose livlihoods and way of life is being decimated left, right and centre

The reality of more than £40m of cuts to policing was laid bare today. Officers are no longer making personal visits to investigate burglaries – unless they take place in private homes. http://www.lep.co.uk/news/local/police-we-don-t-come-out-to-burglaries-1-4450976#.T93xxjfQ438.twitter Not that surprising, soon it will be We don`t come out for drugs, then rape then murder, if we can no longer afford to have Police, we must do without. Daft way to run a country thou.

Police in Sussex have backed the idea of a "late night levy" to make bars, pubs and clubs pay for the cost of keeping order at night time. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-sussex-17337601 About time, Football clubs pay for Police, why not bars and night clubs.

For those who are not aware of SC Glenn Goodman of North Yorkshire Police http://www.policespecials.com/goodman.html http://www.selbytimes.co.uk/news/local-news/shot-police-officer-remembered-1-46232873 http://www.yorkpress.co.uk/news/9721133.Remembering_shot_police_officer_Glen_Goodman/ Its the 20th anniversary of SC Goodman's tragic death and NYP will be holding a memorial service tomorrow in Tadcaster. I and many other NY SCs will be attending to pay our respects (many will have taken the day off work) Sometimes its easy to forget what an amazing contribution we in the Special Constabulary make to policing. We face the same challenges, the same dangers, and the s…

North Wales police and Gwynedd county council took the controversial step after complaints about groups drinking alcohol on the streets and harassing residents. http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2012/jun/16/welsh-city-ban-under-16s I am all for this, cannot for the life of me think why people are making such a fuss, they talk about youth clubs running late, youths going to watch late night movies etc, surely the point is they should not be going to the Cinema so late, and as for youth clubs. surely the Adults there should be responsible and not let kids wander around the City Center after 9.

A burglar who was jailed for three-and-a-half years threatened his victims from behind bars - with a Facebook warning that 'your time is coming'. Read more: http://www.dailymail...l#ixzz1y359ikdm Dump Facebook and so many problems go away, this bloke is in jail, still he gets taunted. The fact he can get on Facebook seems a little strange. But I suppose this is our justice system.
