#AntiWinsorNetwork The Metropolitan Police has been urged to spell out what the impact of budget cuts will be after the London Olympics. BBC Home Affairs Correspondent Danny Shaw said some unconfirmed reports suggested that the Met was planning to cut 6,000 officer posts by 2015. http://www.bbc.co.uk...london-18646809 I guess Rioters only need to bide their time, 2015 there will be so few Police a riot on the scale of 2011 can no longer be contained. I helped put one away last week, I am guessing still many more will end up inside from last August. This shambles of a government have been warned. #AntiWinsorNetwork

999 call system celebrates 75th anniversary Josie Clarke Friday, 29 June 2012 The 999 emergency call system - the first of its kind in the world - celebrates its 75th anniversary tomorrow. The service was launched in London on June 30, 1937, following the deaths of five women in a fire at the home of a surgeon in the city in November 1935. Glasgow became the second city to have the service in 1938 and it was extended to all major towns and cities by 1948. The number of 999 calls has increased from more than a thousand in the first week of the service in 1937 to an average of 597,000 calls a week across the UK. The early hours of New Year's Day is traditionally the …

A New Jersey sheriff's office has a new website that's looking for more arrests instead of friends. Dubbed 'Facecrook,' the website reports the names, photos and last-known locations of fugitives wanted by the Bergen County Sheriff's Office. Currently showing approximately 946 mug shots, the individuals are wanted on everything from failure to pay child support to committing murder. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2162157/New-Jersey-sheriff-unveils-Facecrook-Website-aiming-fugitives-instead-friends.html#ixzz1yPMVA8XB I doubt this idea will turn up over here, we do not like new ideas, good or bad, but your thoughts on it?

Weymouth police officer PC Andrew Thomson had been accused of smashing a man’s head into the road as he detained him for stripping off in the street following a drunken bet. http://www.dorsetecho.co.uk/news/9781849.Dorset_Police_officer_tells_of__three_year_hell__after_being_found_not_guilty_of_assaulting_man_he_arrested/ Maybe the CPS has something to answer here :boxing: :boxing:

http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2012/jun/26/minister-vilification-police-tom-winsor?newsfeed=true Campaign against Theresa May's preferred candidate for job is 'unacceptably personal, very aggressive and disgraceful' So #AntiWinsorNetwork is unloved, #NoConfidenceInTheresaMay to cannot please some people. "The minister said the #antiwinsornetwork run by rank-and-file police officers on Twitter went too far in attacking the commercial lawyer's personal integrity and questioning his independence." No mention of Coach drivers so I can continue :)
