A man was arrested by anti-terrorism police and suspended from his job after he sent a Twitter message joking that he was going to blow up an airport. The police confiscated Chambers' laptop, home computer and iPhone Enlarge photo When heavy snow at Robin Hood airport in Doncaster, northern England, threatened to ruin Paul Chambers' plans to fly to Ireland, he vented his frustration by tapping out a message on the social networking site. "Robin Hood airport is closed," he wrote, according to The Independent newspaper. "You've got a week and a bit to get your ###### together, otherwise I'm blowing the airport sky high!!" http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/road-and-rail-transport/9431123/High-speed-train-opponents-granted-court-hearing.html This Tory Government want to spend £33billion on a high speed link which will save 20 minutes on London to Birmingham. I thought we were in a recession and needed to save money, not spend it as if it was going out of fashion. HMG always make it sound good by saying it will save thousands of 'man', and not to be sexist 'women hours', by multiplying the number of people on the train by 20, i.e 500 passengers, 166 hours saved, but a lot of those will not necessarily be business people, the numbers are dubious to say the least. I doubt if many peo…

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/crime/9429908/Anuj-Bidve-murderer-claims-in-police-interview-that-teardrop-tattoo-marks-death-of-hamster.html Stapleton is the Pits, Pondlife, Scum, equal to the stuff that dogs leave on the pavement. A man like him should be put down, he is not worthy to live in our society. I just hope that there is some poetic justice, and he gets worked over really badly inside, by crims who are much harder than he could ever be, infact 'soap on a rope' would be great news. I bet he is one of those who will spend most nights crying for his Mummy. I don't usually go in for revenge, but I can make an exception in this case.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-18881049 Government criticised as UK road deaths go up for first time since 2003 1 hour ago The government has been criticised for a lack of leadership after the first increase in road deaths for nearly a decade. The report by the Transport Select Committee also highlights the fact that road accidents are the main killer among 16-to-24-year-olds. The committee calls for more help to keep young drivers and cyclists safe and to improve the design of roads. The government says road safety continues to be a top priority. In 2010-11, 1,901 people were killed on Britain's roads. That is 51 more than the year before and the first rise…

He should be prosecuted, a member of the public doing the same would be in court in a flash.

A DISPUTE over who should pay for policing of matches at Leeds United has reached the High Court in a case which could have repercussions for the rest of football. The Championship side club has claimed it has been wrongly charged by West Yorkshire Police for policing public highways and car parks around its Elland Road stadium. http://ht.ly/c9SAs If clubs have to pay, I can see theior fans behaving a lot better, will not cost their precious club quite as much. Must cost Police a fortune when attempting to keep up with fans, if their precious clubs have to pay, fans will know it.
