Police recruits to Britain's largest force were banned yesterday from having visible tattoos in a sweeping reform of its public image. Scotland Yard Commissioner Bernard Hogan-Howe said body art that can be seen by the public 'damages the professional image' of the service. And he ordered a 'tattoo amnesty' in which anyone who already has marks on their hands, neck or face must declare them within weeks or be sacked. The ban comes amid increasing concern among senior ranks nationwide over complaints from crime victims that some young officers appear 'thuggish'. They are particularly worried about the trend for tattoo 'sleeves' in which wrap-around tattoos are inked al…

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/mps-expenses/9615992/Expenses-scandal-MPs-block-details-of-new-expenses.html Those crooks in the House of Commons are at it again, on the fiddle. I hope the Telegraph gets the details and publishes them. Nothing surprises me about Liam Fox, or that greasy little man Bryant, he of Y Front fame. Bercow is trying to stop publication, not because of security, but of asnother expences scandal involving his mates.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-manchester-19942654 These appear to be all too common. Is there something in the mentality of footballers, or is it simply that their public profiles make them more succeptible to news hounds ?

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/law-and-order/9611098/Gary-McKinnon-extradition-hacker-to-learn-fate-after-10-years.html here is another case that has taken ten years,so far. There needs to be a radical overhaul of our justice system when a simple case like this takes ten years. He is pretty 'computer wise' to be able to hack into US Computers, but it doesn't say much for their 'computer security' if McKinnon got in that easily. Send him to the US to clear his name in court, thats if Mummy can let go of the strings. It is still a National disgrace that it has taken ten years to sort out. Come on Ms Malfoy, make a descision and stop dithering.

The man was taken to hospital for treatment and later discharged. The case has been referred to the Independent Police Complaints Commission. 'Extremely sorry' Mr Williams said police had "received a number of reports that a man was wal…
