http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2220757/Cameron-Its-time-mug-hoodie-PM-promises-seek-retribution-law-breakers-new-anti-crime-crackdown-following-catastrophic-week.html We have heard all this crap before from Flashman Cameron. Ever since he was elected we have been going to have a 'crack-down' on crime etc etc. The general public are getting fed up with hearing Cameron and May going on about how they are the party of 'law and order', but nothing ever gets done. We are still waiting two and a half years later for the UK to get out of the Human Rights Law, but we are still ruled by the EU. This Tory government is weaker than under John Major, and cutting 16000…

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-20003058 Of interest, I think, are the judge's sentencing remarks.

This is utterly unbelievable. I hope this is revoked & the officer reinstated. I know there's probably an arguement he should have known better & it's not like me to defend a gaffer but come on ffs!!! http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/crime/9619952/Sian-OCallaghan-killer-escapes-justice-for-second-murder-after-police-blunder.html Oh & I hope the murdering scumbag gets found guilty of the other murder about 2 minutes after the death penalty gets brought back.

A senior Leicestershire police officer who had recently been suspended from the force has been struck and killed by a train. Police said Assistant Chief Constable Gordon Fraser died on Friday. His death is not being treated as suspicious. Mr Fraser, 49, and his wife Teresa appeared in court in July charged with perverting the course of justice over a speeding incident in Scotland. Mr Fraser and his wife were due to appear in court on Monday. Leicestershire Police said Mr Fraser was struck on the railway line at Aston Magna, Moreton-in-the-Marsh. It is understood the couple claimed she was the driver of a speeding car in Scotland in September 2011, when it was alleged …

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2220098/Trenton-Oldfield-Protester-stopped-Boat-Race-swimming-River-Thames-jailed-6-months.html What a complete waste of the Courts time and public money, and the cost of keeping him in prison. He obviously didn't have a very good barrister. The Thames is public water and he had as much right in the water as the boat race crews. Even if there was a specific offence a caution would have been more than sufficient. Yesterday in the news a young 15 year old was badly beaten up by another youth, who just got a slap on the wrist for the assault.

Respect MP George Galloway has accused a senior police officer of entering his home without consent as part of a "dirty tricks operation" against him. Mr Galloway claims the counter-terrorism officer slept with his Parliamentary aide under his roof, set up fake e-mail accounts and a Facebook alias in a campaign to discredit him. The MP has urged the home secretary to look into the matter. The accused officer has been put on "restricted duties," the Met said. The move, which removes the officer from front line operational responsibilities, is a standard procedure when a complaint is made and pending the outcome of an internal investigation. Mr Galloway was re-elected to P…

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-hampshire-19992667 A Hampshire PC who was repeatedly stabbed by a man with a screwdriver has been named the most courageous police officer in England and Wales. PC Alex Stypulkowski was given the top award after tackling the mentally ill man who attacked him in Petersfield. The man was known to be dangerous and had previously taken his mother hostage. The annual Police Bravery Awards on Thursday night were attended by 53 nominated officers. It was held at London's Plaisterers' Hall and was followed by a reception at 10 Downing Street. Police recruits to Britain's largest force were banned yesterday from having visible tattoos in a sweeping reform of its public image. Scotland Yard Commissioner Bernard Hogan-Howe said body art that can be seen by the public 'damages the professional image' of the service. And he ordered a 'tattoo amnesty' in which anyone who already has marks on their hands, neck or face must declare them within weeks or be sacked. The ban comes amid increasing concern among senior ranks nationwide over complaints from crime victims that some young officers appear 'thuggish'. They are particularly worried about the trend for tattoo 'sleeves' in which wrap-around tattoos are inked al…
