Officers and staff at Lincolnshire Constabulary have been left shocked and saddened after a popular and valued special was killed on his way to a training course at force HQ. As a relative newcomer to the force, he had been heading to complete his personal safety training with other officers from his intake when he was killed. Remembered for his commitment and enthusiasm, SC Bennett had joined Lincolnshire Special Constabulary in October last year and was stationed at Louth. Stephen Woodcock, the force’s Chie…

A friend and i were leisurely discussing the use and deployment of batons within the line of duty :whistle2: . He believed that batons are rarely used by officers as C.S is more favourable in self defence than striking (he presumed ). However i believe strictly talking self defence, i.e restraining a person an officer wouldn't hesitate to draw his baton if he felt it was necessary. I would love it if you anyone would could settle this debate, by firstly giving there personal experiences of using a baton, strictly in terms of restraint and/or self defence. Then Secondly stating which item there more inclined to use say if both were required, basically which one would you …

The Witch Finder, Ponce Finder General. This man is such a slob, he hates the Tory's with a vengeance, and will try and do anything to 'get one'. He cannot bear the thought that it was his Numpties, Blair, Brown, Balls, Cooper etc etc, who drove the UK to the brink of disaster, money wise, and left the UK in such a parlous state. His 'bee in the bonnet' at the moment is the Childrens Home paedophile incident in North Wales, I just wish he would let the police and the enquiry get on with it, without sticking his big gob in. The man has such a complex about something, perhaps his upbringing, that he hates anyone with money, especially if they are Tory. He loves to th…
