The recommendation that compulsory severance should be introduced to the Police Service has been surprisingly rejected by the Police Arbitration Tribunal (PAT), it has been announced. Releasing its decision over Tom Winsor’s controversial Recommendation 46, the PAT said the case for the proposal – to make officers redundant with less than 30 years service - was not “compelling”. It accepted the Staff Side’s argument that it could have “damaging effects on the psychological contract” between officers and their forces. The Staff side, which includes the Police Federation, made a “persuasive” argument, the PAT said, while the Official Side only described the measure as…

http://m.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-25469555 Only six years for an attack that could have ended in many deaths. Hurling fire bombs at a building with people inside can only be done with the intention of killing or seriously injuring those inside. The numbskulls responsible only reason being some other people purporting to be the same religion as those inside the building killed someone else several hundred miles away. Should have got 20 years.

Ten people were killed when the police Eurocopter collided with the roof of The Clutha pub in Glasgow on November 29. On Tuesday, the single was released by the officers who enlisted the help of Britains Got Talent winner Jai McDowall to provide vocals for the track, called "Wont Forget". Roger Hobkinson, 72, claims he is being victimised by Cornwall Council's dog wardens, saying they lie in wait for him with binoculars at the Gannel estuary where he walks Dalmatian Henry. 'Send me to prison over dog mess fine' says Roger Hobkinson, former cop from Newquay The pensioner has been fined four times since 2010, costing him £1,656, including a £100 penalty and £654 in legal costs imposed by magistrates on Friday. I see that Ronnie Biggs has died aged 84. Biggs was a petty thief who never made an honest days wage in his life. He only made a name when he escaped from prison in 1965. Buster Edwards, another useless waster, was glorified in a movie starring Phil Collins. It makes me sick to see villains like these made out to be heroes, when decent honest men like train driver Jack Mills never recovered from being coshed, and died in relative obscurity. Sickening.
