http://news.aol.co.uk/stab-death-burglar-n...510265944571682 ''A teenage burglar stabbed to death after he was caught breaking into a house has been named by police. Tyler Peter Juett, 17, from Aspley, Nottingham, was killed after forcing his way into a semi-detached home in the Old Basford area of the city on Friday afternoon. The precise circumstances of what happened are not known but it is understood he was confronted by a man at the property. A post-mortem examination showed he died from a stab wound.'' In my opinion a person has a right to defend his life, family and property, it'll be intresting to see what happend.

She left work at her usual time, around 2:15pm and has not been seen since. Detective Chief Inspector Lucy Pope who is leading the investigation, said: "We are becoming increasingly concerned for Claudia's safety as it is completely out of character for her to be missing for so long. Source: http://uk.news.yahoo.com/21/20090321/tuk-p...ed-6323e80.html I think its stupid that a member of a Political Party can be sacked from his worse place for his views/support. The BNP is a recognised party and one the government acknowledge. Yet a police officer was sacked for being on therei list. He says he was put on it by a family member, regardless, I don't think ones views should lead to dismissal from ones work place. There are teachers who dislike children, should all them be sacked too. Now, I know on the application form for the Police it asks if you have or ever will suppoer the BNP, but its a sad state off affairs is one cannot have an opinion of such a…

POLICE in Hampshire will take delivery of 50 new Taser guns in the next few weeks as part of a Government push to help officers deal with “dangerous people†without resorting to firearms. Until now, use of Tasers has been restricted to dedicated firearms officers but the new weapons will be used much more widely, by specially trained police response officers, where there is serious violence or threats of serious violence. The guns, which look like fluorescent pistols, use compressed air to fire two darts that trail an electric cable back to the handset. When the darts strike, a five-second 50,000-volt charge is released down the cable, temporarily paralysing the …

http://petitions.number10.gov.uk/InjuryAward/ Please give you support to the above petition which highlights the unfair deduction of Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit from an officer`s Police Injury Award. Your support and recognition are greatly appreciated as this may very well affect you in the future if you are unfortunate enough to be seriously injured on duty. Many thanks. David

Police to get 6,000 extra Tasers The guns deliver a 50,000-volt shock An extra 6,000 Taser stun guns are to be used by police in England and Wales at a cost of £8m, the Home Office says. The funding follows a 12-month trial in 10 forces to extend their use to trained frontline officers. There are already 6,700 firearms officers able to use the weapons, which can temporarily disable a suspect. Home Secretary Jacqui Smith says they are safer for the police and public but human rights body Amnesty International has called them "potentially lethal". The guns fire needle-tipped darts up to 21ft (6m) to deliver a disabling, 50,000-volt shock. 'Extremely disappoin…

Well it is The Sun!!!!! BARMY police chiefs wasted £200,000 investigating their own officers — for “stealing†five bottles of Vimto. Transport cops Rob Mitchell, 40, and Kris Catterall, 38, found the mixed-fruit cordial in a tatty cardboard box beside a rail line. Police rules say the pair should have booked it in as lost or stolen property but they decided to share it with colleagues instead. Incredibly, when it was spotted in a mess room cupboard the constables were suspended on full pay for 18 months — before the ludicrous case was dropped. Lawyers had mulled it over for eight months before ruling out charges, but the pair still faced an internal probe…
