Wong, 26, is currently suspended from the force and faces a misconduct hearing over the offences, which took place between March 2006 and June 2007. Defence solicitor David O'Hagan told the court: "She's a policewoman and she accessed the information, simply accessed but didn't pass the information on. "There was a number of Chinese individual…

From the BBC: LINK Basically the list of people barred from entering the UK has been published for the first time. I sort of agree with the statement but I suppose the best place to stop it is at the beginning before brainwashing people with some with their views. The people in more detail

A BEEPING air freshener triggered a full-scale bomb alert in Frodsham. Bomb disposal specialists were called after a beeping box was found inside a red telephone box next to the Cholmondeley Arms pub, Church Street, by a passer by at about 4.30pm on Sunday. People were evacuated from nearby premises and the junction between Church Street and Main Street was sealed off as dozens watched the drama unfold. Cholmondeley Arms landlady Jayne Brookman said: “It distressed the children but not us. My daughter was in the bath so I had to rush her out in her towel. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11...-crackdown.html Officers shout warnings to homeowners through megaphones in burglary crackdown Residents have described it as intrusive and patronising - and pointed out crime has fallen because, for once, there are patrols in the area and not because of the amplified orders the officers are issuing. I disagree, the chances are you are not going to robbed by an Officer. "Grandmother-of-three Shirley Partridge, 75, said: 'I don't want police officers coming into my house and bellowing at me with a megaphone telling me to lock my windows and doors. 'They wouldn't get in anyway because I am careful when I go to bed at night. …

BBC Website Nobody on here wishes to see Police Officers receive custodial terms but this was a sad situation all round where I have very mixed feelings on the rights and wrongs of it. I know colleagues that have done similar, albeit not to the same extreme of speed, without any negative outcome. This is a nasty lesson though.

POLICE closed all three lanes of the M27 near junction five shortly before 11am this morning for a training exercise. They were learning how to get a car that fails to stop off the motorway by using four police cars to surround a vehicle. A police spokesman said the closure of the westbound carriageway only took place for a short while and that it was necessary for police to practise such manoeuvres on motorways. Source: Daily Echo
