Adrian Grew Detective Constable Kent Police Died 9th December 2013, aged 32 He was travelling home from duty when his car was in a collision with a bus on the A21. He suffered multiple injuries which proved fatal at the scene. He recently joined the Serious Organised Crime Unit having moved from the Reactive Crime Team at Tonbridge Police Station. He is survived by his wife and their son.

David TraillCaptainPolice Service of ScotlandDied 29th November 2013, aged 51 On the evening of Friday 29th November 2013 the Police Scotland helicopter, call sign SP99, crashed into the roof of the Clutha Vault pub in Glasgow city centre close to the Clyde. The crew were fatally injured as were members of the public within the premises. David was an experienced pilot having been in the Royal Air Force, he was contracted to Police Scotland through Bond Air Services.

Ramin Tolouie Police Constable West Midlands Police Died 16 October 2011, aged 40 Fatally injured in a collision between his motorcycle and a car at Wylde Green whilst he was travelling home from duty in Birmingham. Ram was stationed at Erdington Police Station as a response officer for Birmingham North Local Policing Unit. He had been commended for a rescue in 2007. He is survived by his wife and daughter.

Lest we Forget - PC Keith Henry Blakelock QPM PC Keith Henry Blakelock was murdered on duty on 6th October 1985. We will not forget. PC Blakelock was married with three young sons and had been a police officer for five years. He was a home beat officer in Muswell Hill, north London. He was murdered during the riots on the Broadwater Farm Estate in Tottenham, which started after Cynthia Jarrett died of heart failure during a police search of her home on 5th October. Andrew Duncan Police Constable Metropolitan Police Died 21st September 2013, aged 47 On Friday 20th September 2013 he was engaged in a speed enforcement operation in the Sutton area of South London when he motioned for the driver of a speeding car to stop, the vehicle struck him and drove off. Sustaining serious injuries he was taken to hospital but was unable to recover from the injuries caused. Andrew joined the Metropolitan Police in 1990, originally serving in Battersea, moving to Hammersmith and Fulham before joining the Territorial Support Group. Shazahan Wadud Police Constable Metropolitan Police Died 8th September 2013, aged 29 Travelling to begin a night shift in Tower Hamlets his motorbike was struck by a car in Spratt Hall Road, Wanstead. The injuries he suffered due to the collision were fatal. Shazahan had served in the Metropolitan Police for 6 years as a Constable, prior to becoming a police officer he had been a member of police staff. He was a response officer stationed in the Tower Hamlets Borough. He is survived by his wife, their two children and large extended family.

Anthony Wright Police Constable West Mercia Police Died 9 August 2011, aged 47 Died when the motorcycle he was riding was in collision with a car whilst he was on duty in Kidderminster. Tony had 22 years police service and was based at police headquarters. He had previously served in the army and had been awarded a Police Bravery Award. He is survived by his wife, a serving officer, and his adult daughter from a previous relationship.
