Hi all, I have been told that I am being progressed for the November intake (just posted vetting forms off) does anybody know when I will get told which station I will be posted to if all goes how it should? I have phoned them but the person who knows is unavailable. Thanks

Morning all, Wiltshire Police are looking to recruit Detention Officers and Variable Hour Detention Officers. The jobs are full time temporary with a view to being kept on permanently. I'm on my mobile at the moment so cannot link to the page but I'll do it when I get home.

Anybody else passed and awaiting forms for vetting? Also, seeking clarification on if I need to do eyesight test or not as I don't wear glasses. Rang them up and apparently I'm not the only one who's confused!

Hey guys, I have recently applied to become a Special with Wiltshire Constabulary and I know it varies massively as to how long it may take to hear back from them, but could you just let me know how long you waited to hear back so I can have a rough idea... I have read that some people heard back within two weeks. I applied over three weeks ago. Thank you

After 6 weeks of constantly refreshing my E-mail inbox, I'm pleased so say that I've finally passed Vetting Very excited for the next steps now! :D
