Hi everyone, Thankyou for reading this... I passed the assessment centre back in November, i returned all my vetting and medical forms the second week in December. I have since attended a medical, bio metric and drug testing, I have been told I have passed all of them. I have also had a financial check done on myself (experian shows acpo police check) this was done over two weeks ago but I haven't yet heard anything else regarding the vetting... I realise it can take up to 12 weeks but refrences haven't even gone to my referees yet. Does anyone have any idea how long the process is currently taking? And what I can expect after my vetting comes back? (I am not expecti…

Hi all, Just wondered if any regular officers could provide me with some feedback on SYP. I am a DC looking to transfer as a DC (they are currently recruiting). I'd like to know what the force is like to work for, particularly Barnsley area. What are workloads like? How is the financial constraints affecting team numbers, morale, demand etc? Are teams being disbanded? What is the scope like for movement? What is the current shift patterns worked? Honest feedback would be much appreciated! Thank you :new_thanks:

Hi all, new to the forum. Had my assessment on the 14th and passed, (thought I'd messed up). I've had my vetting paperwork through which has been duly filled in and sent back. Just wondering how long the vetting may take?

Just curious to how many hours you can put in during MOD 2 when you have your tutor. Will you be assigned just one tutor, or a various amount of tutors who you can book a duty with as and when it suits. Will they be regulars, specials or either? Ta!
