Evening All Ive just recently failed vetting. Basically got a generic email saying i had failed vetting and no right of appeal and they wont say what ive failed vetting on. Is there a way i can find out how or why i failed vetting? I went for assessment day which consisted of small team assessment, bleep test and push pull test, then submitting all paperwork ie application form, family details, medical forms and so on. From information provided i was then sent for an independent medical which was ok and they declared me fit to carry out police duties. I then passed vetting the end of June, i provided a couple of financial details which were listed on my credit repor…

Well well well ... Failed my vetting tested positive for apparently , I have never taken drugs in my life ... I'm a nurse I'm around people who take drugs but that shouldn't give me a positive reading ... I'm livid as it's totally untrue , I have complained & have a vetting interview ... How can you test positive for a drug you have never taken ? Some one please enlighten me

Hi guys, hope everyone's had a good festive break. Now I know footwear is covered in detail in other parts of the forum, however, I was wondering whether anyone knew of any places around the county where I could try on different brands and styles of boots before buying? I'm starting as a regular in a few weeks and we aren't supplied with footwear. Only specials are. The guys in the uniform store couldn't really make any recommendations when I asked their opinion. I'm living in Kettering so ideally around this area but of course suggestions all over the county will be highly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi everyone I am going to have to put my application on hold because of a family crisis , does anyone know if this is possible ? I am supposed to be picking my uniform up & start training in 2 weeks Gutted is an understatement but hopefully can start training at a later date
