Hiya I have the NRAC coming up in a couple months, and then my fitness test. However, a strength test hasn't been mentioned once to me, and it isn't listed on their site. Does this mean there is no strength test for North Yorkshire specials?

Hi all. Just trying to gauge if anyone has gone in for this? And if so if there has been any come back as yet? I ask as I have applied, it feels like a life time ago. I received an email around 3 weeks ago asking me a quick question regarding assessment however as yet I have not reviewed a knock back or invite to SEARCH. Hi Everybody, I'm hoping some of you can help! I have my final interview for NYP on Thursday, and nervous to say the least. I have prepared my competencies in line with the STAR method, and ensuring I can hit all the buzz words for each one. However, due to previously failing intake for WYP at final interview, I'm worried i wont be saying the right things. Can anybody help with the questions I should expect? Thanks!

Hello all Just a brief one, I would like to put some feelers out to anyone aware of any progress with the above wave. Having submitted application at the back end of may I have been met with the usual "your application has been submitted.............................we will be in touch shortly" message and this has been the same since. I would like to find out if anyone has applied for the same wave and if so if anyone has accomplished any further movement at all. I appreciate these things take time, this is more for curiosity than it is anything else. Any info from NYP staff/PC or fellow applicants would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance Simon

Waiting on a training date.... Just wondering if anyone else has passed the final force interview, passed the medical, fitness test and has had all the forms i.e. Medical and vetting forms sent off. I am in the process of waiting for a training date and there doesn't seem to be much information about time scales etc. Anyone else in the same boat?

Hi All, After 5 years of being out of NYP, I have applied to re-join the SC!! Excited to be doing so as well! Just wondering if anybody else has applied recently or any ex-SC's have applied to re-join? Can't believe how much the recruitment process for SC has changed since I last applied and joined! Be good to hear from others!
