However, having been a reader of this forum for some time now I am sure it is the best place to get the advice I need and/or re-direction to an appropriate source. I know that the topic of transfers to Lancs has been discussed in the past, but has anyone successfully transferred to Lancs in the last couple of years and how did you find the process?

as i have heard all our divisions are combing into north, west and south ?

I thought I'd start a thread detailing my progress through the application process to give others an idea of the timeframe involved from start to finish, thanks June 18th 2013. Received the application forms via email June 28th 2013. Notified via email I had passed the initial Paper sift July 11th 2013. PIRT tests held at Assessment Centre at HQ. August 22nd 2013. Resit for the maths section of the Pirt test as I had totally underestimated the time allowed and only answered around half of the questions! Major boo boo! August 30th 2013. Interview time at HQ lasted approx 45 mins ( accept the water provided trust me ) Wasn't succes…

Does any fully understand this? It seem that officers overlap and half a team starts at say 7am and the other half at 8am. I've checked the shift rota from dutysheet, but it just lists one time for each day. Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Is anyone attending Hutton on the above date? I might give recruitment a call and ask if calculators are permitted, unless anyone already knows? If I'm doing the pirt on 27th when might I expect to start training if I pass all the other tests? Cheers Phil.

Good evening Lancashire. I'm coming up your way to do a response driving course this month and I'm staying on site at your HQ. Are there any shops locally, or even a store on site? Or should I bring my supply of crisps and savoury snacks with me in the car? Thanks in advance. Murphy
