A question for serving Officers and SC's - why do some officers have black stab vests and some have those high vis stab vests? I've seen officers who are PC's or SC's same rank but different color stab vests.

For anyone who may be interested or have time to watch/sky+ it, there is currently a five/six parter series called 'Coppers' on Channel 4 on a Mondays I think. First episode was based in a busy custody suite but next week (I think the 8th Nov) there is an episode based in Cambs, which may be worth a look for all Cambs officers! No naming names though! At least it seems to be Cambs, judging by the preview I watched.

Couple of questions about Cambridgeshire - anyone know the answers Yes /No will suffice Are their SCs allowed, positively encouraged to work with response/proactive teams? Do Cambridgeshire SCs deal with their own jobs or do do they hand over all their arrested persons?
