Well.. It appears we don't really have a very active sub forum guys and girls, So if you are currently a serving officer, going through the very long recruitment process or are maybe thinking of joining up come and say hello. Why not come into here and have a chat with people in same area as yourself? Cambridgeshire is so diverse in what we have to cover.. Hello, I am currently in the system with Cambridgeshire. I have passed the paper sift, initial assessment (which I found hard) and most recently the interview. I enjoyed the interview, which was actually the first proper interview of my life. I'm 32 and have recently sold a business. Hi, Can anyone who has completed the special constable interview, shed any light on it. Does it relate back to the questions on the application form? Or is it more a selection of random questions, designed to test whether your answers match the core competencies required in the role as an SC? Any examples of questions asked? Thanks

Hi guys, Decided to post on here as the Cambridgeshire forum is a bit dead. Just received an email from HR to say I will be going to the Cambs A/C Centre sometime in Oct/Nov. This is my second time around applying to be an SC, I passed the interview, but failed last time on the PIRTs back in 2012 with Essex, despite preparing and completing sample tests etc. It took a while to get over the disappointment and rejection, I have good GCSE results and I have completed vocational A-Levels. However since moving, I have decided to reapply, but this time for Cambs as an SC. I am keen not to repeat what happened last time around at A/C and so I plan to get on with revising as …
