Avon & Somerset Constabulary

I've got my final local interview tomorrow evening. My only concern is that I've studied the Police Professional Framework and learned all of those competencies but perhaps they turn around and ask me a question based on community and customer focus, which I haven't really prepared an example for. Has anyone ever had this situation before? Is it best to try and match up the old competencies with new ones and then work out the best answer to give?

Hi everyone, i have recently applied for the specials with Avon and somerset and have successfully completed the online stages. when completing the application form it asks what district to apply to. i live in wales and i do not know and district/ divisions in Avon and summer would any body be able to tell me the full codes of the force area i'm looking to apply to Bath or Weston there about many Thanks in advance Dan

any one else see to today on Asp live 24 that they tweeted about a possible regular recruitment drive again in what I'm assume November December as indercated as towards the end of the year!

Hiya guys, Just as a heads up it looks like A+S may be opening up recruitment in the next week or so for regular officers. I found a kit list for Avon and Somerset as part of a freedom of information request processed in 2014. I will post here as it may be of interest to someone. The list is for regular police officers, however I doubt there is much difference between this and what a special will be issued.
