Am I correct and what is the situation in the UK?

To all and any that can help? Me and the wife are both serving Officers in the UK. Both with over 8 years service and specialist training. Due to general discontent in the UK it is time for a change and at very early stage are very interested in finding out opportunities within the Canadian Police but at the moment we no very little about it and we don't want to jump into anything too quickly without thinking it through. Could do with either some decent links to interent sites or general advice re transferring. Hi guys, I'm from the UK and yet to apply for the police. I would like to join the british police and after completing the three years continuous service apply for the Australian police. Is this realistic? I'll do almost anything to get permanant residence in Oz but would like it to be the police. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! thanks mike
