The announcement of a boxing match between two unlicenced boxers got me thinking - is there an actual legal definition between a sporting fight and affray or is it up to the common sense of the police. The other week when he was drunk he found a set of car keys, managed to find the car and he drove it. He got pulled over by the police, blew 79, so was over the limit. He is getting charged for drink driving and theft of vehicle. He did have a lisence, and didnt crash. he is 21 and his only previsious is a section 5. Thanks

recently ive been looking at cars on ebay, ive been looking at ford's and fiesta's mk4 in general, and i seem to be seeing many fiesta 1.25cc with 1.7cc 155bhp puma convertions, the ad say's "still a 1.25 on logbook/v5c, up to you to tell DVLA", also spotted a sierra 1.6 fitted with a 2.0 engine, "still 1.6 on logbook" also spotted many vauxhall corsa owners doing the same, surely they are all driving about uninsured with inadequate brakes in most cases

This is purely a hypothetical question. If a serviceman (or woman, or civillian subject to military law) was to commit a crime off-base in England & Wales (say theft, burgalry, ABH) and was arrested during or immediately after by the local police, could the relevant service police rock up and take the DP and have it tried at a courts martial? Is there any recorded precedence of this? I'm quite happy to PM the reason I ask to anyone who isn't just scoffing or stirring. And no, this is not happening to me, 'my mate' or anyone I know.

Hi guys, 3 questions; 1- Which offences are dealt by a £30 non Endorsable FPN, as I thought all of them are now 60 quid? (Met btw) 2 - The ANPR Non Endorsable FPN (red border), can they only be used when the vehicle is detected by ANPR camera? Cause all the non Endorsable offences appear to be detectable only by us not the cameras (ie. using a phone or veh condition). I cant seem to find any non ANPRs one at the nick but have about 50 of the ANPR ones. 3. If you seize a car (op repo) for say only driving w/o licence, would you have to fill out a process book or could you do a FPN instead. (if points under 12 etc etc) Thanks! Flexy

I'm a sign collector who has been given the opportunity to purchase a new blue/white 'police accident' road sign, with a receipt of purchase. The sign will never be used on the highway, and is purely for my bizarre collection, but I am wondering if it is purchased new, would it be legal or illegal to own such an item? Thanks, Ady.

Asked a manager of a shop for some footage he has with me on it. Manager said due to the data protection act he can't, has to be via a police request. Told him I've already asked a policeman and that the policeman said he's allowed. Still said he's not allowed until he gets a request from the police.

Police Officer attacked by Pitbull, now it's my turn I am sure you guys have seen this on Youtube and heard it on the news : I have to say his colleagues did a good job (the firearms officers, not the one digesting his food). The main thing I have come to discuss is that there are a lot of chavs around here and they got dogs and when I say "dogs" I mean violent dogs like the which will eat you alive if they feel like it, the chavs use this to intimidate people, and the worst thing is that you got young kids holding these dogs while these dogs are 10x powerful then them and at any time can chew them up and attack someone else. Hi all, Just wanted a bit of info with regards to the CPS, does anyone know how long it takes for them to reach a decision on whether to charge someone or not?
