Don't ever rush your search! CLEVELAND — Prosecutors in Cleveland have released a video that shows a man retrieving a gun hidden in the back seat of a park ranger's cruiser and shooting her in her bulletproof vest before being fatally shot in an underground police parking garage. The Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's Office released excerpts of two video recordings Tuesday after announcing that the fatal shooting in December of Derek Stokes, 33, by two Cleveland Metroparks rangers was justified. Stokes was killed at the bottom of a ramp inside a garage beneath Cleveland police headquarters, where the rangers planned to book him. Ranger Chelsea McLellan and Kyle …

There was a nasty surprise awaiting passengers in the arrivals hall at Rio de Janeiro's Galeao International Airport on Monday. Along with the relatives carrying flowers and taxi drivers waiting with name boards there were lines of off-duty police with banners that had a far more ominous message: "Welcome to Hell". "Police and firefighters don't get paid," the banners, in English and Portuguese, went on. "Whoever comes to Rio de Janeiro will not be safe". Photos of the protest have been widely shared on social media and in the Brazilian press. The image above was posted on the photo sharing site Imgur, where it was viewed more than three million times in less th…

http://www.wral.com/police-video-bill-wins-house-vote-/15801436/ A big step backward I think. Body cams are now not an officer's personal record and not public? Then what are they? And only obtainable with a court order? If the officer is doing everything right this shouldn't be a problem
