A SERIAL sex beast who was jailed for attacking an Aberdeen gran sent a vile letter to one of his other victims from Peterhead Prison, a court was told. http://www.eveningexpress.co.uk/Article.aspx/2359577 Some right nasties our Police have to deal with, and this is one of them. Freedom to write to people outside the prison should be looked at.

A police leader has called for officers to sport their tattoos at work – claiming it could be an 'icebreaker' when dealing with the public. All 43 police forces in England and Wales ban their officers from having rude, lewd, discriminatory, violent or intimidating tattoos that could cause offence to colleagues or the public. Even innocuous tattoos are expected to be covered from public view and body and facial piercings are banned. Read more: http://www.dailymail...l#ixzz1T2BZmRy2 I suspect it would have to be a in a form of something different, rather then a tattoo of a cardboard box. Do poeple ask Police about their tattoo`s?

Cops shopped: officers park on red route, http://www.thisislon...-go-shopping.do that the media just do not like Police. The story is there for all to see, but the truth is slightly hidden. I phoned Tesco, they know of no such store on Kennington park road. . There is one however in Kennington lane, but that on google map looks nothing like the picture. So who took the picture? And where is this picture taken. Someone must have checked into this before publishing, or am i missing something?

When motorists saw two Metropolitan policemen parking against the red-route traffic - blocking both a bus lane and a cycle superhighway - they assumed the pair were answering a life-or-death 999 call. But the "emergency" was something far more pressing: picking up their shopping. The bad parking, which would have earned civilians a fine of at least £130, was captured on film by an angry resident in Kennington. As the marked patrol car pulled up, cyclists, pedestrians and drivers were astonished to see two male officers simply stroll away. Ten minutes later the pair came ambling back, one carrying a shopping bag from Tesco Express and appearing to check his receipt. The o…

It seems that the atrocities in Norway were a very calculated series of events. It seems the gunman disguised himself as a copper which made shooting people far easier because people trusted him by his clothing and fled towards him making them selves sitting ducks. I have no idea where he got this uniform from but a thought has occurred to me that over the last 20 years or so we have gone from the only person with authority you might see wandering the streets would be a police officer.OK on foot beat most likely in the last 10-12 years a student officer but you get my drift. Now the amount of people with bona fides uniforms that draw the automatic trust especially of v…

Prime minister tells Commons he wants to drop the ban on recruiting foreign police chiefs to bring in 'fresh leadership' http://www.guardian....e-chief-british The Yanks maybe coming, run for the hills. ""At the moment the police system is too closed. There is only one point of entry into the force. There are too few – and arguably too similar – candidates for the top jobs … I want to see radical proposals for how we can open up our police force and bring in fresh leadership,"" They can recruit a few from this site. Lots of highly intelligent Officers on here who could do this job. Just to make sure this bit is read by ALL, "American colleagues are clear that po…

Two London MPs want the age limit for an automatic jail sentence for using a knife to threaten or endanger life to be lowered from 18 to 15. Conservatives Nick de Bois and David Burrowes are both MPs for Enfield where gangs recently clashed with knifes and machetes. They say under-18s are "causing carnage on our streets" and are tabling an amendment to the proposed new Crime Bill so that 15, 16 and 17-year-olds would get at least six months' detention. Mr de Bois said: "As recent tragic events have shown inLondon, the use of knives by people under 18 is a threat blighting a significant number of communities. "Offering these teenagers rehab in jail and when they leave is a…

Corrupt police officers should be locked up and the key "thrown away", the president of the Association of Chief Police Officers (Acpo) has said. Sir Hugh Orde was speaking in the wake of allegations about Metropolitan Police officers taking money from the News of the World for information. He said the UK had one of the least corrupt police services but that it was not complacent. Sir Hugh is among those being tipped as the next Met Police commissioner. Last week Sir Paul Stephenson resigned as Commissioner of the Met after it emerged that former News of the World (NoW) executive editor Neil Wallis had been employed by Scotland Yard as a public relations consultant. …
