http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/pressure-grows-on-lord-leveson-to-explain-why-he-ignored-hacking-beyond-the-press-8670417.html It appears that Lord Leveson has a lot of questions to answer. He was provided with evidence from SOCA that there were many Phone Hackers, throughout Law Firms, Industry, the Utility Company’s, Blue Chip Company’s etc. Only 20% of phone hacking was attributable to the media. The remaining 80% was spread over the others, and Lord Leveson chose to ignore it. Ooops.

Delegates attending a Union conference today agreed to mobilise for a day of civil disobedience on November 5 against the Government's austerity measures. Looks like another busy day for the police many of whom will be sympathizing with the decent protesters on this day. I can't help thinking what sort of message a police 'day of discretion' might send to this shower in charge? ..... Not that I would ever condone such a thing Cpt D

If this story is acurate, I am totally disgusted with the message the Judge is sending out with that judgment. No Jail time despite having been given numerous chances since previous convictions/offences. A pitiful monetary payout to the victims - the court getting more than double the compensation awarded to the main victim. Somehow because he makes a lot of money mitigates the sentance... Doesn't that just add to this individuals ego? Source: Manchester Evening News
